CountyClean invests in hi-tech CCTV camera equipment

Sussex-based CountyClean Environmental Services has boosted its fleet of specialist vehicles by investing in the latest CCTV equipment.

The new system includes a crawler-mounted camera which allows drain experts to inspect potentially hazardous areas from a safe access point.  Live footage is viewed and recorded on a computer, which is housed in a specially equipped vehicle, before being transmitted back to the office where it can be quickly downloaded for the client.

CountyClean staff raise hundreds of pounds for cancer charity

A team of staff, friends and family from Eastbourne-based CountyClean Environmental Services braved the rain last Sunday to participate in Eastbourne’s Race for Life.
   
The 5km race was held on Sunday 5th of June on behalf of Cancer Research UK.The team of ladies from CountyClean included the female staff, several of their daughters, relatives and friends. The all-female team set off at 2pm and completed the course in their best-ever team time of 43 minutes.

Success leads to waste management company expansion

A fast-growing Sussex environmental services company has taken on a new member of staff and plans to recruit two more.

Trevor Beer has joined CountyClean Environmental Services Ltd as Contracts Manager. He is based at the company’s headquarters near Eastbourne.

CountyClean Environmental Services has invested in an Aquavac Super Combination Unit, one of the most powerful vehicles available, which will enable staff to tackle even the most difficult cleaning jobs quickly and efficiently.

Waste company digs deep for needy children

Big-hearted staff at a successful waste management company, based in Eastbourne, have donated more than £2,000 to help sick children in the South East.

CountyClean Environmental Services, which specialises in removing liquid and hazardous waste, decided to sponsor local resident Stella Grimshaw £2,000 towards her Great Wall of China trek in October 2010, in aid of local children’s hospice Chestnut Tree House.

Chestnut Tree House is the only children's hospice in Sussex and cares for children and young adults from 0 to 19 years of age with progressive life-limiting and life-threatening illnesses from all over the county.
